EVV for Consumer Directed Programs

Find information about MassHealth's implementation and operation of EVV for Consumer Directed Programs.

Consumer directed programs delivering personal services to individuals supported by MassHealth must comply with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements. This includes:

• The State Plan PCA Program
• Waivers that include consumer directed personal care services.

Information is provided below regarding EVV for the PCA Program and Moving Forward Plan (MFP) Waiver. EOHHS will post EVV implementation information for the other waiver programs with consumer directed personal care services as it becomes available.

The PCA Program and MFP Waiver must meet federal requirements for EVV. MassHealth chose to implement EVV for these programs through the PCA Program Fiscal Intermediary (FI). The FI will integrate EVV within its timekeeping system. EVV will not impact how services are provided within the PCA Program or MFP waiver.
