EVV Implementation Plan

EVV Implementation Plan for the PCA Program and MFP Waiver

In September 2020, MassHealth released a Request for Response for FI Services for the PCA Program and MFP Waiver.  MassHealth included EVV as a procurement requirement for the selected FI vendor.  The FI vendor was announced in April 2021, with a contract start date of January 2022. 

EVV will be implemented gradually, beginning in mid 2023.

MassHealth takes the implementation of EVV and the resulting impact to PCA Program and MFP Waiver stakeholders seriously.  We are deeply committed to building the best possible system for Consumers, PCAs, and other stakeholders.  At the same time, MassHealth must ensure that the PCA Program and MFP Waiver comply with applicable CMS requirements and federal laws.
