  2. Apply Online

Follow the link below to complete your application in the Grants Management System (GMS). Submit one application per entity. MassDEP accepts applications on a first-come, first-served basis.

Note: You will be asked to upload a current Form W-9 as part of the online application process. This must have been signed and dated within the past year. A blank is provided below, and is also available in the online application form.

  3. MassDEP Reviews Your Application

MassDEP begins by verifying your eligibility and checking your application for completeness. You will receive an email from the GMS that your application status has changed and must log in to the GMS to view next steps. If you are not eligible, you will see that in the GMS as well.

After verifying your application is complete, you will be contacted to complete the contracting process.

  4. Complete Your MassEVIP Project

State agencies will enter into agreements with an end date allowing sufficient time to acquire vehicles. Non-state agencies will have 21 months from the date the contract documents are issued to acquire vehicles.

As a public entity, your organization is eligible to use statewide contracts to acquire vehicles.

MassDEP can provide the MassEVIP incentive payments directly to vendors on statewide contract or directly to your organization.
