What you need for Apply to become a Primary Care Clinician (PCC) in the Primary Care Clinician Plan

You have to be an enrolled MassHealth provider to become a PCC. If you want to become a PCC, first apply to be an enrolled MassHealth provider. Provider Enrollment and Credentialing (PEC) will review and process your application.

You can become a Primary Care Clinician if you are one of the following:

  • Acute hospital outpatient department
  • Community health center
  • Group practice organization
  • Hospital licensed health center
  • Independent nurse practitioner
  • Physician
  • Physician assistant employed by a group practice
