What you need   for How to Report Changes to the Massachusetts State Supplement Program (SSP)

If you get Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments and SSP payments, you must notify SSA of any changes to your case. You can report changes to SSA online, in person at an SSA office, and over the phone at (800) 772-1213 (TTY) (800) 325-0778).

If you get only SSP payments, you must notify SSP of any changes to your case. Learn how to do that below. 

You should report changes to SSP if there are changes to these or anything like these:

  • Living situation, such as someone moving in or out of your household,
  • Living expenses,
  • Admission into or discharge from a facility,
  • Income, or
  • Address
