This request item should NOT be used by end users to install software on your PC. This request item is typically used by developers to build and test services and applications. 

Please be advised: you must fill out the “TSS Exception Form” and attach it to your request (see “Exception Request Instructions” for more information).

Who can request?

Designated Security Officers (DSOs) ONLY - will request on behalf of Commonwealth employees and their authorized business partners, whether or not currently supported by EOTSS.

Service Level Expectation (SLE)

SLEResponsibilities/Dependencies
Fulfillment: Due to the variable nature of this request item, fulfillment time will differ on a case-to-case basis. SLE will be communicated following the finalization of customer requirements.

Customer

  • Responsible for adhering to the EOTSS Standard Rules of Engagement.
  • Responsible for filling out the “TSS Exception Form” and attaching it to the service request (see “Exception Request Instructions” for more information).
  • Responsible for sharing requirements including justification for local admin access via TSS Exception Form with EOTSS during the intake and discovery process.
  • Sharing complete requirements will ensure that accurate SLEs are provided and met.

EOTSS

  • Responsible for coordinating discovery meeting(s) with the customer.
  • Once all requirements are collected/finalized following intake and discovery, EOTSS will determine the appropriate SLE for the request and communicate to the customer.
  • Responsible for approving the exception form submitted by the customer.
  • Responsible for administering local administrative rights to users per the customer’s requirements.
