The Details
What you need
To become a MAP trainer, you must:
- Be currently licensed as a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, registered pharmacist, or physician in Massachusetts
- Have at least 2 years of experience in your profession
- Complete the DPH approved Train the Trainer Program offered through the Departments of Mental Health, Children and Families, Developmental Services, and MassAbility.
How to register
To register for a MAP Train-the-Trainer (TTT) class by email, contact your DDS, DMH, DCF or MassAbility MAP Coordinator. State agency MAP Coordinator contact information can be found on the www.mapmass.com website or by using this link to the website subpage "MAP Training Resources and Support".
You will be prompted to complete a registration form and return it with an attached resume showing the 2 years required experience.
Once received, you will be signed up for the class.
