The RMV's online portal (myRMV) protects customer accounts by using a two-factor authentication system.  This sends a security code to be entered when you log into myRMV to verify your identity.  Follow the instructions below if you are locked out of your account and need assistance.

How to update   Update your MyRMV online account

If you are locked out of your online myRMV account, please revisit the transaction you were attempting to complete on Mass.Gov/myRMV, enter your information, then click the link on the Verify Security Code page to request assistance.

You will receive a response to your request within 24-48 business hours.
