About the Multimodal Local Connections Working Group

The goal of the Multimodal Local Connections Working Group is to prioritize design alternatives for the Franklin Street Pedestrian Bridge, the Agganis Pedestrian Bridge, and the South Side Buffer Path by September 2026. 

The Multimodal Local Connections Working Group meets from August to October 2024. The Core Working Group includes the following representatives:

  • A Better City
  • Accessibility Representative
  • Boston University
  • City of Boston
  • Community Representative
  • Depot Building Property Owner
  • Harvard University
  • MassBike
  • Sect 106, Boston Landmarks Commission

The agency Chair of this meeting is MassDOT Complete Streets, and the Co-chair is the MassDOT Highway Design.
