Cybersecurity Remediation Grant Opportunity
The Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS) is pleased to announce the availability of the Cybersecurity Remediation Grant, offered in support of the Office of Municipal and School Technology (OMST) Cybersecurity Health Check Program. This grant was designed to assist organizations in addressing and implementing recommendations identified through engagement in our 2024 and 2025 programs.

Cybersecurity Health Check Program
OMST’s Cybersecurity Health Check Program was introduced in 2016 and underwent significant improvements in both Spring 2024 and the Spring of 2026. Through a competitive RFQ process, priority services were identified and procured from vetted ITS78 statewide contract vendors to ensure high-quality performance and timely completion. OMST has partnered with these vendors to provide a range of no-cost cybersecurity assessment services whereby upon completion of an assessment, participants receive a detailed report of findings along with recommended remediation steps. On April 1st, the suite of services has been expanded to include Disaster Recovery Plan Creation, IT Asset Inventory, Cloud Security Assessment, Data Loss Prevention Assessment, Firewall Configuration Review and Vendor Risk Management (cloud). We welcome you to continue to make strides in closing your cybersecurity gaps.
We strongly encourage ALL eligible organizations to take advantage of this funding opportunity to address identified gaps and strengthen their cybersecurity posture. Should you have any questions, please contact OMST at email cyberhealthcheck@mass.gov.
