Ask MA Has Fans
Our newly-launched chatbot, Ask MA, has been getting some praise from the tax professional community. “It’s great. Easy way to start a search on the website. You get real specificity in response. As a tax professional, [Ask MA] provides an opportunity to learn. It gave me more deep-thinking questions and opened up ideas connected to related pages,” states tax professional Sue A. The chatbot is available on over 180 DOR webpages for your search assistance.

Tax tips and assistance are readily available for all taxpayers 24/7 on the DOR website. From our homepage, choose any of the popular tasks like set up a payment arrangement, check the status of your refund and much more. In addition, our YouTube channel is a great resource for video tutorials on important subjects like small business learning tools, third-party access and more. You’ll learn how to use MassTaxConnect to your advantage through these video tutorials. When you need us, we’re only a click away.

Wholesaler Stamper Renewal Now Open
Attention Wholesale Tobacco Stampers: Wholesale stamper licenses expire on June 30, 2023. The license renewal process is open and active on MassTaxConnect. Review the Cigarette, Tobacco and Vaping Excise Tax FAQ page for additional details.
June Due Dates to Remember
Take note of a few tasks and payments due this month:
June 15, 2023 – Estimated Tax Payments for taxpayers who use Forms 1ES, 2ES, 355-ES and UBI-ES
June 25, 2023 – Advance Payment for those subject to the requirement
June 30, 2023 – Return and payment due date for sales/use, meals, room occupancy
