Figma roles and cost per seat
State agencies are responsible for covering the cost of Figma seats for their internal teams and vendors through a chargeback model to Mass Digital.
Figma charges a monthly subscription fee per seat. The seat cost varies depending on the assigned role.
Chargeback invoices are sent monthly. By joining the Figma Enterprise account, the agency agrees to cover the total cost of the seats, prorated to term with our Figma contract (currently ends December 12, 2026). For 2026, there is an additional 5% upcharge from the reseller per seat.
Full seat
- Cost: $90/month
- Intended for: Designers

Dev seat
- Cost: $35/month
- Intended for: Front-end developers
- Access details:
- Full access to Dev Mode and FigJam
- View and comment access in Figma Design files
Collab seat
- Cost: $5/month
- Intended for: Product team
- Access details:
- Full access to FigJam
- View and comment access in Figma Design files
- No access to Dev Mode; basic inspection only
