General Information

Provider organizations that contract directly with Senior Care Options (SCO) or One Care Plans and deliver personal care, homemaking and companion services must comply with EVV requirements. Providers are required to implement EVV for these Medicaid-covered services regardless of payer. This includes personal care, homemaking and companion services reimbursed through MassHealth Fee for Service and ASAP Contracts, as well as through health plans such as SCO and One Care plans. This page is specific to EVV implementation for providers contracted with a SCO or One Care plans.  Other provider organizations delivering personal care services may have EVV requirements.  Please follow the provider descriptions from the  Main EVV Webpage.

Providers may fulfill EVV requirements by either:

  • Purchasing their own EVV system and submitting data on at least a monthly basis to EOHHS’ Data Aggregator;

OR

  • Using the state-sponsored EVV system known as MyTimesheet.

Providers that choose to use their own EVV systems are referred to as Alternate-EVV Providers or Alt-EVV Providers.  Providers that choose to use MyTimesheet are referred to as MyTimesheet Providers.
