Section 10Y

The division and its contracted health insurers, health plans, health maintenance organizations, behavioral health management firms and third-party administrators under contract to a Medicaid managed care organization, accountable care organization or primary care clinician plan shall provide coverage for the provision of services by a recovery coach licensed or otherwise authorized to practice pursuant to chapter 111J, regardless of the setting in which these services are provided; provided, however, that such services shall be within the lawful scope of practice of a recovery coach. The benefits in this section shall not be subject to any deductible, coinsurance, copayments or out-of-pocket limits. Recovery coach services shall not require prior authorization.
