Description
This WMA is almost entirely wet, consisting of almost a mile of Meadow Brook and its associated wetlands which include a mix of wet meadows, alder swamps, beaver flowages and forested wetlands. There is a small amount of uplands adjacent to the frontage along Stage Road in Cummington.
Location, access, & parking
This property in located in the towns of Cummington and Plainfield. There is no formal parking areas. The only access is through roadside parking at the frontage along Stage Road in Cummington or through the section of the Meadow Brook WCE along Nash Road. See WMA map.

Hunting & fishing opportunities
The alder swamps provide good cover for American woodcock. Meadow Brook is a Coldwater Fish Resource containing brook trout.
Wildlife viewing & other features
The marshes and wet meadows provide habitat for breeding marsh birds like the Virginia rail.
