There is a new form called “Notice of Appearance and Objection.” This form was created in order to make it clear when someone is seeking to file an Objection in a case as opposed to a new attorney entering an appearance in the matter. A Notice of Appearance form will still serve as an Objection though.
The filing of a Notice of Appearance and Objection automatically triggers a case management hearing in accordance with Standing Order 106 on Case Management and Time Standards. When the Notice of Appearance and Objection or Notice of Appearance form is docketed, the file should be given to the appropriate court personnel to schedule a case management hearing.
