Public input is an integral component of the RMP process; and provides a forum within the RMP to enhance communication and cooperation with park visitors, partners, and surrounding communities. On December 10, 2013, DCR hosted a public meeting at the Plymouth Public Library to solicit input regarding recreation, stewardship of resources, and park facilities. A virtual public meeting was held on March 1, 2022 to solicit input on the Myles Standish Complex’s Draft Resource Management Plan and its recommendations. Both meetings were followed by public comment periods. The Myles Standish Complex Resource Management Plan was adopted by the DCR Stewardship Council on June 9, 2022.
