Oral proficiency interview in applicable foreign language overview

Upon completion of Step 1, online OLA orientation and ethics exam, and Step 2, the NCSC Written Exam, candidates must pass an oral proficiency interview. The assessment will be scheduled by the third-party administrator. The general assessment will evaluate a candidate’s conversational proficiency through a structured oral interview. The assessment uses progressively more complex questions and speaking tasks to measure language fluency and communication skills. Candidates are evaluated by trained assessors using the third party’s standardized proficiency scale. Candidates must score an 11 on the third-party vendor scale.
