PCaaS Eligibility & Service Levels

EOTSS provides different levels of PCaaS support to Commonwealth end users, depending on whether or not your agency is currently supported by EOTSS. Find out more below.

All Executive Branch and EOTSS Supported Agencies will receive one (1) Standard End User Device bundle for each user*.

Independent and Constitutional agencies who do not receive End User Support from EOTSS may opt to procure devices via EOTSS and will pay the pass-through cost of procuring the device(s) and peripherals with no additional markup or overhead.

*A user is defined as a person who is assigned a full M365 G3 license.

Executive Branch Agencies

Executive Branch end users benefit from the entire suite** of PCaaS components and services.

Responsibilities
EOTSS Agency
Inventory and Asset Management (deployment and stockroom logistics) Provide annual and quarterly forecast to EOTSS
Provide all end users a new device every 4 years** Request new devices through ServiceNow
Work with vendor to replace and repair PCs still covered under warranty Return device to EOTSS for 4-year replacement, or when no longer needed
Negotiate enterprise contracts with vendors Pay a per-device, per-month subscription fee*
Provide agencies a predictable, flat rate

 

*Standalone PCaaS subscription fees will be waived for FY24.

**Unsupported Executive Branch Agencies: End User device refresh will continue to be a shared support model with EEA, EOHHS and MASSDOT Secretariat IT teams until fully supported by EOTSS.

Unsupported Independent & Constitutional Agencies

Independent & Constitutional Agencies that are not currently supported by EOTSS are not eligible to leverage our full suite of PCaaS services and components. 

However, these agencies may opt to procure devices via EOTSS and will pay the pass-through cost of procuring the device(s) and peripherals with no additional markup or overhead.


VIP/Executive Support

VIP/Executive Support is available on a per user basis for users in strategic roles that require a heightened level of support.

VIP Support personnel will be strategically located throughout the Commonwealth and dedicated to facilities with specific VIP or Executive Support needs.

Dedicated VIP/Executive Support staff will also be assigned to support ad-hoc critical needs on as needed basis.
