Rail Transit Safety Leadership Team

The Department of Public Utilities (DPU) Rail Transit Safety Division is a group of experienced professionals responsible for the oversight of equipment safety and transit operations of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) as the Commonwealth’s State Safety Oversight Agency.

The Leadership Team

The Division’s leadership team consists of a Director of Rail Transit Safety along with two
Assistant Directors and one Assistant General Counsel:
