Share this message throughout May and June 2026. It’s designed to be shared by schools and other community partners to ensure families have access to their SUN Bucks card for 2026 issuance.

Sample Messaging

  1. SUN Bucks are almost here! Do you have your card?  If you received benefits in 2025 and used your card, you can keep the same card for 2026. Find it, PIN it, Keep it! New families and those who did not use their card in 2025 will be mailed a new card!
    If you don’t have your card you can request one through your DTA Connect account or by calling the SUN Bucks Hotline at 855-425-8770.
  2. SUN Bucks benefits are issued to a SUN Bucks card. If you got benefits in 2025 and used your card, remember to Find it, PIN it, Keep it! Families new to SUN Bucks and those who did not use their cards in 2025 will be mailed a new card.
    Need a replacement card? No problem! You can request one through your DTA Connect account or by calling the SUN Bucks Hotline at 855-425-8770.

  1. Yup… It’s back! SUN Bucks provides $120 in extra grocery benefits for each eligible child in our community. Many eligible children are automatically enrolled in SUN Bucks through other programs they already participate in.
    But, some eligible families will need to apply. Help spread the word to let families know that it’s easy to apply at DTAConnect.com/SUNBucks
  2. Families can apply for SUN Bucks at DTAConnect.com/SUNBucks or through a paper application, available at your child’s school! 
    Many eligible children will be automatically enrolled in SUN Bucks through other programs they already participate in.
  3. Remember, SUN Bucks is for families who could use the extra support with groceries over the summer. 
    If that’s you, it’s easy to apply! Find out more information about SUN Bucks at mass.gov/SUNBucks
