Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Plan

The DPU has proposed the following DBE Plan for FTA approval. The DBE Plan lays out goals for federal grant monies expended by DPU on third party consultants or vendors:

Statement on Minority Depository Institutions

In accordance with US Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation 49 CFR § 26.27 and consistent with the DPU’s DBE Program, the DPU encourages prime contractors to utilize the services of financial institutions owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals.  The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s list of Minority Depository Institutions identifies OneUnited Bank, located in Boston, MA.  We encourage prime contractors to explore utilizing their services.
