The annual screening and prevalence report presents screening rates and blood lead level prevalence rates by community. The high risk community list presents communities that are at-risk for lead poisoning based on 5 years of incidence rates of poisoned children along with poverty and age-of-housing data.
In 2018, all reports were updated to include improved population estimates obtained from the UMass Donahue Institute. Due to these updates, reports accessed from this site prior to September 19, 2018 may show small differences in screening rates. In addition, changes to the report design were made to improve readability. Click here for more information about the UMass Donahue Institute’s population estimates.
