The park offers many hiking trails and breathtaking views of the Connecticut River Valley. Reach the summit of Mt. Holyoke by road or hiking trail.

Auto road hours

The auto road to the Summit will open for the season on 5/5/24. The road will be open daily from 9am-8pm.

Summit House

The Summit house will open for the season beginning on 5/18/24, the house will be open 9am-4pm on weekends and holidays.

The Summit house restrooms will open daily from 9am-7pm.

Parking   at Skinner State Park

Parking fees charged from May 14 until the road closes

MA resident  $5

Non-MA resident  $20

Resident and non resident status is determined by the vehicle license plate

  • No rock climbing

  • No all-terrain vehicles (ATVs)
  • No going off marked trails
  • No motorized vehicles
  • No off-road motorcycles or dirt bikes
  • No roller skates or roller blades
  • No skateboards
