State Police Belchertown Barracks

Station C-7, SP Belchertown, is located at the Winsor Dam on the Quabbin Reservoir in central Massachusetts. Officers assigned to State Police Belchertown operate watercraft, all-terrain vehicles, 4x4 vehicles, tracked vehicles, and traditional Massachusetts State Police cruisers. SP Belchertown provides investigative, search/rescue, and security services on 81,000 acres of watershed including the eighteen-mile long reservoir. In 2001, SP Belchertown enforced additional security measures in coordination with the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority and Department of Conservation and Recreation to protect the Commonwealth's prime source of water for Boston and forty-six additional communities.
