Station C-6, SP Holden was built in 1930 and is located in the most central part of Massachusetts. Located on Route 122A, there is quick access to Routes 290, 190, 495, 140, 31, 2 and the Massachusetts Turnpike. SP Holden covers almost 250 square miles through 7 towns and the City of Worcester. The patrol area also includes the Wachusett Watershed (DCR) and the Wachusett Mountain Reservation/Ski area in Princeton. SP Holden is also home to CHQ Headquarters, the Community Action Team, "C" Troop Mechanics, Radio Room, Troop Clerk, Troop Carpenter and the "C" Troop Dispatchers. SP Holden borders all "C" Troop barracks with the exception of the Belchertown Barracks.
