Showcasing all that Massachusetts has to be proud of since 1919
The Massachusetts State Exposition Building is located at The Big E in West Springfield. It was built in 1919 to showcase Massachusetts agriculture, industry and tourism at the region's largest agricultural fair. Every year in September the fair opens for 17 days and attracts over 1.6 million attendees. Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) each year seeks qualified applicants to exhibit 1 to 17 days during the annual Big E fair.
2024 Dates are September 13th – September 29th. Massachusetts Day September 19th.
