Social distancing is necessary to contain the spread of COVID-19 but can lead to increased violence in homes due to increased anxiety, stress, and isolation.

If there is child abuse or domestic violence in your home as you self-isolate, there is still help available. If it is an emergency, call 911.

Call your local police department to report crimes.

The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office launched a hotline for victims to receive assistance. Please call or text 1-855-275-8927 at any time or email us at contact.berkshireda@mass.gov.

Please use this guide to connect with the available resources to help get you through this difficult time. Look after your neighbors and if you see something, say something.
