The Nurse Aide Registry Program reviews training and competency evaluation programs, oversees the Massachusetts state competency evaluation, and maintains a registry of nurse aides.

The Nurse Aide Registry Program approves and monitors nurse aide training programs, oversees the nurse aide competency evaluation program, operates the Nurse Aide Registry, renews the registration of qualified nurse aides, and coordinates reimbursement for the Medicaid portion of training and testing costs incurred by facilities and individuals.
