Prepared testimony as delivered by Roberta Herman, MD, Executive Director, Group Insurance Commission on January 31, 2018

As a result of candid feedback from members and stakeholders, the agenda of the next GIC Commission meeting on Thursday, February 1 will include a motion for reconsideration of the recent vote to narrow carriers.

Today, the Group Insurance Commission (GIC) voted to approve recommendations stemming from a year-long procurement process, which has been widely socialized and shared with our Commission throughout. This will result in changes effective July 1, 2018.
