261 CMR governs the licensure and practice of respiratory therapists, and establishes the requirements and procedures for the issuance and renewal of licenses. All licensees are charged with having knowledge of the existence of 261 CMR and shall be deemed to be familiar with their provisions and required to render respiratory care services in accordance with them.
