521 CMR 46.00 governs accessibility requirements for Group 1 bedrooms. Group 1 units shall provide or be capable of providing, wheelchair turning space as defined in 521 CMR 6.3, Wheelchair Turning Space, clear of the door swing, at one side of the bed in the primary bedroom (based on a full size bed). Where more than one bedroom is provided, an additional bedroom shall also provide or be capable or providing wheelchair turning space (based on one twin size bed).
