COASTSWEEP brings thousands of volunteers to the Massachusetts shoreline each fall who not only help to make the coast cleaner and safer, but also record information about the types and amounts of trash, fishing line, and other marine debris they find. This information is sent to the Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup program where the data are analyzed and used to help reduce marine debris worldwide. Along with the hard work of these volunteers, COASTSWEEP would not be possible without the support of our dedicated partners.
