Deleading and Lead Safety

Applications for Lead-Safe Renovation Contractor Licenses and License Waivers, Asbestos and Deleading Contractor Licenses, Asbestos and Lead Training Providers, and Asbestos Analytical Service Providers can be mailed to the Boston office or by walk-in.

Walk-in licensing service is available for: asbestos and deleader supervisors and workers, and asbestos consultants:

  • Boston: Open Mondays only from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Springfield: Open the first Tuesday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Haverhill: Open Wednesdays only from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • New Bedford: Open the second Thursday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Westborough: Open the third Friday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Deleader-Supervisor Third-Party Exam:
This unit offers the Deleader-Supervisor Third-Party Exam, for which successful completion is required as part of a Deleader-Supervisor application. Contact (617) 626-6960 to make an appointment.
