Lexis and Westlaw at the law library

The Trial Court Law Libraries offer Lexis and Westlaw in the libraries for free.

Lexis and Westlaw are available at all 15 Trial Court Law Libraries.


Lexis is a research system that provides the most expansive collection of online content available. It contains current statutes and laws, published case opinions from the 1770s to present, and unpublished case opinions from 1980 to present.


Westlaw is an online legal research service that includes over 40,000 databases of case law, state and federal statutes, administrative codes, newspaper and magazine articles, public records, law journals, reviews, and treatises.
