MassHealth public hearings

Coronavirus Update:  Due to the coronavirus emergency, MassHealth and EOHHS are holding public hearings remotely. All public hearings will occur on the advertised dates and times. Details and instructions for attending and testifying remotely are provided below for each hearing. If you plan to testify at a remote hearing, EOHHS strongly encourages you to register in advance. EOHHS encourages you to submit written testimony in addition to, or instead of, providing testimony at the hearing. Instructions for registering online and for submitting written testimony can be found in the Notices of Public Hearing.

If you would like to testify at an upcoming public hearing, you may sign up online or during the hearing.

You may also submit written testimony about proposed regulations by the specified date by emailing masshealthpublicnotice@mass.gov. Please submit electronic testimony as an attached Word document or as text within the body of the email and type the name of the regulation in the subject line. All submissions must include the sender's full name and address. Persons who are unable to submit electronic testimony should mail written testimony to

MassHealth Publications
100 Hancock Street, 6th Floor
Quincy, MA 02171.

Sign up for email notification whenever MassHealth is advertising proposed regulations. Note: When you click on the sign-up link, a blank email should appear.  If your settings prevent this, you may also copy and paste join-masshealth-proposed-regs@listserv.state.ma.us into your email address line.  Just send the blank email as it's addressed. No text in the body or subject line is needed.

Please note:  The WORD, RTF, and TEXT versions of documents are accessible formats intended for screen readers used by the vision-impaired.

In accordance with Section 151 of Chapter 126 of the Acts of 2022, a remote public hearing will be held to solicit and consider input from the general public about the needs of MassHealth enrollees with a diagnosis of sickle cell disease and the adequacy of available covered medications, treatments, and health care services to meet their needs. The Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) especially invites input from individuals diagnosed with sickle cell disease as well as persons or groups with knowledge, experience, or specialized expertise in sickle cell disease treatment.
