The RMV can revoke or suspend your license, permit, registration, or right to operate if you violate a law, commit a violation, or for administrative reasons. You may be able to appeal the suspension or revocation. Depending on your violation, you can see a Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) Hearings Officer at certain RMV Service Centers. All hearings are held on a walk-in basis. For certain kinds of violations, you may have to go to the Board of Appeals on Motor Vehicle Liability and Bonds rather than an RMV Service Center. Below, you can view pages that have information relating to potential violations, hearings and appeal information.
