The Council on the Underground Economy (CUE)

CUE pursues revenue owed to the Commonwealth by noncompliant businesses, so that the cost is not passed on to you, taxpayers, and ratepayers.

By engaging in a coordinated, compliance investigations and enforcement actions between multiple state and federal agencies, the CUE ensures tipsters that their anonymous information continues to bring businesses into compliance with all of Massachusetts laws and tax requirements, which ensures a level economic playing field.
