General Information for All Petitioners
Admission by Examination
Admission by UBE Transfer
A petitioner may be eligible for Admission by UBE Transfer if they have earned a UBE score of at least 270 within the last 36 months.
Admission by Motion
A petitioner may be eligible for Admission by Motion if they have engaged in the active practice or teaching of law for at least five out of the past seven years.
Foreign-Educated Attorneys
Graduates of law schools in foreign countries may be permitted to sit for the general bar examination or petition for admission by motion upon obtaining a prior determination of their education sufficiency from the Board of Bar Examiners.
