Overview
The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Coordinating Council (EVICC) is currently developing its Second Assessment, due to the legislature by August 11, 2025. The Second Assessment will provide an evaluation of the Commonwealth's EV charging network and EV charging deployment strategies, as well as a comprehensive roadmap for how Massachusetts plans to support the deployment of the necessary EV chargers to meet its emissions reduction requirements and transportation goals.
On August 11, 2023, the EVICC provided its initial assessment and recommendations to the legislature as required by law. The second EVICC assessment is due to the legislature by August 11, 2025. To inform its development of its Second Assessment, EVICC will hold four public hearings across the Commonwealth.
