Public Meeting Notice  Leo J. Martin Golf Course Improvement Project Public Meeting 12/3/2025

At this virtual public meeting, DCR’s project team will present plans for improvements to the golf course over the next 12-16 months. The proposed scope for this project includes a new course-wide irrigation system, new greens at 4 locations, additional cart paths, tree planting and improved maintenance.  The meeting will review the proposed scope of work and the need to close the course in 2026 to accomplish the work.  The project objectives are to complete these upgrades to elevate  the course to a state of good repair and providing a quality recreational experience in the near future.

The public will be invited to provide comments during the meeting, after the presentation, by unmuting their microphones, or the chat functionality that will be available through the virtual participation platform. After the meeting, the presentation will be available for viewing on DCR’s Past events for DCR Public Meetings Information web page.  DCR encourages the public to share additional feedback, with a deadline for receipt of comments by DCR of December 17^th, 2025. Comments may be submitted via the DCR public comment portal. Please note that the content of comments you submit to DCR, along with your name, town, and zip code, may be posted on DCR's website. Additional contact information required when commenting, notably email address, will only be used for outreach on future updates on the subject project or property.
