Apply for a Radiologic Technologist license

You may apply for initial licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with the Radiation Control Program. If your license has been expired for more than 6 months, you must submit a new application.
RCP will review your application and then issue you a Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License, if there aren't any issues with your renewal form and payment of fees.

What you need   for Apply for a Radiologic Technologist license

To apply, you will need a:

  • Copy of your A.R.R.T. Verification on letterhead or N.M.T.C.B. certification website verification
    • Instructions on how to obtain ARRT verification are in downloads below

If you are re-applying for a license that has been expired for more than 6 months, you will also need:

  • Documentation of CEU credits from your last full biennium
  • Documentation of one CEU credit per month since the start of your current CEU biennium
  • See 105 CMR 125.009 for acceptable CEU requirements

You may use this form to apply for an initial license in one or more of the following categories:

  • General Radiography Technology
  • Mammography
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Radiation Therapy Technology
  • PET
  • Radiologist Assistant
  • CT
  • Nuclear Medicine Advanced Associate

Fees   for Apply for a Radiologic Technologist license

Pay by credit card or electronic fund transfer using the Environmental Health eLicensing Portal.
