    • Which agency(s) and/or unit interests you the most within the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, and why?
    • Provide an example of a goal you’ve set (identifying the situation, task, action, and result), and how you achieved it.

Applicant requirements

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be enrolled in a college, university, or trade school
  • Be at least 18 years old by the start of the program
  • Pass a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check; fingerprinting may be required

Minimal in-state travel may be required and varies by position

Schedule, pay, and key dates

The internship program will run from June 1, 2026, through approximately August 28, 2026.

Interns will have the option to work full-time or part-time. Students will be compensated based on the level of their educational program. 

Applications and documents must be submitted by November 14, 2025. Interviews will be held virtually starting January 2026.
