Bring the completed application, along with all proper documentation and fees to an RMV Service Center or AAA branch (if you are a member).
You can pay by cash, check, money order, credit card, and debit card. Since payment methods vary by location, check what’s accepted at the site you will be visiting.
The RMV will mail your replacement Mass ID to your mailing address on record with 5-7 days.
If your ID will expire in less than a year, you can renew your Massachusetts ID instead of replacing it.
You cannot cancel or return a duplicate ID after ordering.
