About the Throat Area/ Charles River Working Group

The goal of the Throat Area/ Charles River Working Group is to prioritize design alternatives for the Charles River shoreline, its parklands, and the Paul Dudley White Path by September 2026. 

The Throat Area/ Charles River Working Group meets once a week from July 9, 2024 to August 13, 2024 (no meeting on August 6, 2024). The Core Working Group includes the following representatives:

The agency Chair of this meeting is MassDOT Environmental, and the Co-chair is the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR).
