Changing Lives Through Literature Best Practices Guide: Part Six: Graduation

This page includes information on CLTL graduations.

At the conclusion of each program a graduation is held in the judge’s courtroom (recommended and when practical). The judge presents each graduate with a Certificate of Completion, as well as the gift of a book. The book is a new reading, one different from material used during the program.

Library of America is honored to once again partner with Changing Lives Through Literature and pleased to offer a complimentary hardcover volume to graduating CLTL participants to recognize their efforts, enhance their personal libraries, and inspire their future reading.

• Requests should be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to graduation. This will ensure proper shipping time.

Refreshments

A budget for the purchase of graduation refreshments is available.

• Complete the Purchase Request Form for Graduation Food/Catering (CLTL-F2).
• Requests should be submitted a few weeks in advance to allow for processing time.
