    Out of an abundance of caution and to support the wellness of our children, families, and staff, DCF local offices are closed to in-person visits until further notice.

    DCF has fully transitioned to assisting our families and partners by phone and online. All area offices can be reached by calling the main office number and staff is on e-mail and checking voicemail remotely.

    To report an allegation of child abuse and neglect during regular business hours, please call the Department of Children and Families area office that serves the city or town where the child lives. Between the hours 5 p.m. to 8:45 a.m. please call the Child-at-Risk hotline at 800-792-5200. For more information visit
