Division Regulations and Standard Operating Guideline Manual

The DPU’s Standard Operating Guidance Manual (“SOG”), linked below, provides procedures and guidance for DPU’s exercise of its State Safety Oversight Agency responsibilities with respect to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s rail transit system (the subway Red (including Mattapan Trolley), Green, Orange and Blue lines).  The SOG, together with the regulations at 220 CMR 151, form the Program Standard for the State Safety Oversight Program in Massachusetts.  The SOG sections have been adopted over time and are currently being reviewed for any needed updates.  As sections are updated, the updated versions will appear below:
