Available features
At this time, here's what you can do in EEC’s Professional Portal:
- Complete your portal profile to meet your annual registration requirement.
Learn more about our changes to annual registration - Access the new StrongStart Learning Management System (LMS)
Learn more about StrongStart - Apply for or manage EEC professional certifications
Learn more about applying for a certification
Learn more about our updates to the professional certification application
These features are part of the first phase of having various EEC tools in one place. New features will be available in the future.
Getting started in the portal
To get started, you need to log in to the Professional Portal with your MyMassGov account.
If you don’t have a MyMassGov account, you’ll need to create one.
Learn more about using a MyMassGov account to log in to the portal
When you log in to the Professional Portal for the first time, you’ll need to create your portal profile.
We’ll ask you to share a few details about yourself for your profile:
- Personal information (like your date of birth, any previous names, ZIP code, and contact information)
- Program information (like the program you’re currently working in and your roles)
Once you complete your portal profile, this now counts as your annual registration and you can download your proof of registration from your dashboard. You can also access the new StrongStart LMS, apply for or manage your EEC professional certifications, and review or edit your portal profile.
Using MyMassGov to log in to the portal
You must use a MyMassGov account to log in and to manage your Professional Portal access.
If you don’t have a MyMassGov account, you’ll need to create one before you can start using the portal. Note: We recommend using a personal email address instead of a work email. It’s best to use an email that you check often and will continue to have access to in the future.
Logging in with a MyMassGov account helps us confirm your personal details and identity. When you use MyMassGov, you can also access other participating Massachusetts services on mass.gov. This includes the Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV), state health insurance, family leave, and more.
