Recruitment seasons
MassDOT offers several opportunities throughout the year for students and emerging professionals to connect with the agency.
Fall College Recruitment: Each fall, MassDOT participates in career fairs and recruitment events at colleges and universities across Massachusetts and beyond to connect students with internship, co-op, and career opportunities.
Spring Co-op Onboarding: During the spring semester, MassDOT welcomes co-op students across a variety of disciplines, providing hands-on learning experiences and professional growth opportunities. Co-op programs can run up to six months in length, allowing students to gain extended experience within their field of study.
Summer Highway Internship Program: Each summer, students participate in MassDOT’s 12-week Highway Internship Program, gaining practical experience while working alongside professionals in the field and office.
